Anti-Corruption Bureau Arrests Lawyer for Bribery

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) apprehended a government lawyer in Neemkathana, Rajasthan, for allegedly accepting a bribe. The lawyer was reportedly caught with ₹50,000 in cash, part of a larger deal estimated at ₹3 lakh. This deal was allegedly made in exchange for weak legal representation in a case involving a gangster. In a separate incident, the ACB filed a chargesheet against a former Patwari and Lambardar in Baramulla accused of demanding a bribe.
