Haryana completes voter list update; over 33 lakh names excluded

Haryana has completed the first phase of its Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, with over 33 lakh names excluded. Chief Electoral Officer Sreenivas stated that Booth Level Officers (BLOs) distributed forms to over 2 crore electors, and more than 1 crore forms have been digitized. The exclusions are attributed to reasons such as relocation, death, and duplication of names. In Palwal district alone, 99,302 voters did not fill out their forms.
