Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Resigns Amidst Protests
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has resigned following 37 days of protests by the CJP (Citizens for Justice and Peace) and student groups. The protests, initially focused on agricultural laws, shifted to issues of education and paper leaks. While CJP stated Pradhan's resignation was non-negotiable, Union Minister JP Nadda called for non-political discussions. Kailash Vijayvargiya claimed Pradhan offered to resign on the first day of the protests. Prahlad Joshi has been appointed as the new Education Minister.
