Amarnath Yatra Resumes Amidst Accidents and Weather Delays
The Amarnath Yatra resumed after a six-day suspension due to bad weather, with thousands of pilgrims departing from Jammu. However, the journey was marked by a bus accident in Ganderbal where 39 pilgrims were injured after their vehicle fell into a gorge, though a house reportedly broke the fall. The Lieutenant Governor reviewed restoration work and ordered health assistance for the injured. The pilgrimage has surpassed the 4-lakh pilgrim mark.
