NIMS Reduces Deep Brain Stimulation Surgery Time

The Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) in Hyderabad has successfully reduced the duration of deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgeries to two hours. This procedure, also referred to as 'brain pacemaker' operations, is used to treat movement disorders.
