Parliament to Table New Bill Amid NEET Paper Leak Investigations

Parliament is set to table a new bill addressing paper leaks, with the Lok Sabha expected to discuss it on Monday. The proposed legislation reportedly includes a two-month deadline for investigations and penalties of at least five years in jail and a Rs 50 lakh fine. Meanwhile, the CBI has filed a chargesheet against 13 individuals in connection with the NEET-UG 2024 paper leak case. However, one report indicates the CBI has given a clean chit to a key accused, Sanjeev Mukhiya, due to a lack of evidence.
