Two die in Noida sewage tank incident; prior deaths cited
A sanitation worker and a security guard died after entering a sewage tank in Noida. The worker succumbed to asphyxiation, and the security guard died while attempting to rescue him. Police have registered a case and begun an investigation into the exact cause of the deaths. Separately, data indicates 47 deaths occurred while cleaning sewers and septic tanks in 2025.
