Woman Consumes Poison After Accused of Rape Refuses Marriage
In Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, a woman who had accused a man of rape and caused his arrest, subsequently demanded he marry her. When informed he was in jail, the woman consumed phenyl. She is currently receiving medical treatment. The incident occurred after the man was imprisoned based on her complaint.
