US-Russian ISS crew lands safely in Kazakhstan

A joint US-Russian crew, including NASA astronaut Chris Williams and Russian cosmonauts Sergei Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikaev, landed safely in Kazakhstan on a Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft. The crew had spent 241 days, or approximately eight months, aboard the International Space Station. Their return occurred southeast of Dzhezkazgan after a parachute-assisted landing. The mission highlights continued space cooperation between the US and Russia.
