Indian stock markets rally on falling crude oil prices
Indian stock markets experienced a broad-based rally, with the BSE Sensex jumping 776 points to close at 76,835.78 and the NSE Nifty surging to 23,995.95. This rise was attributed to falling crude oil prices and improving global sentiment. The market capitalization of the BSE-listed companies increased by ₹5.1 lakh crore. The rupee also appreciated against the dollar.
