Actor faces police complaints over PM Modi poster at Kolkata protest
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has filed police complaints against actor Sreelekha Mitra in Kolkata for allegedly displaying an "obscene" poster of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a NEET protest. Multiple police stations received complaints, and the BJP has demanded Mitra's arrest. Mitra stated she "forgot her spectacles" and did not see the poster. Police have arrested 14 individuals in connection with violence during the NEET protest.
