India's First Indigenous Hydrogen Train Completes Trials
India has developed its first indigenous hydrogen fuel cell train, completing trial runs of over 1,200 kilometers. The train generates electricity using hydrogen fuel cells, emitting only water vapor and saving over 3,200 liters of diesel. Northern Railway is slated to operate the train, with Delhi routes being tested next. The project is an indigenous development aimed at sustainable transportation.
