Himachal Pradesh teachers launch indefinite hunger strike over school complex system
Thousands of primary teachers in Himachal Pradesh launched an indefinite hunger strike in Shimla to protest the School Complex System, which they claim is unfair and affects their salaries. The strike began after a red alert was triggered in three districts due to heavy rainfall. The government has been asked to accept their demands within two weeks. The teachers claim that the system is outdated and does not provide them with adequate compensation for their work.
