India's Capital Expenditure Projected to Reach ₹10 Trillion by 2030

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has linked capital expenditure to the performance of listed companies. As a result, capital expenditure is expected to reach ₹10 trillion by 2030. The government has set a target of ₹9-10 lakh crore for the mining and construction equipment-linked sectors. The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) have also predicted this growth. The MCE-linked capital expenditure will be based on the performance of listed companies, with the government setting a target of 15% annual growth rate. This will lead to an increase in capital expenditure from ₹2.5 lakh crore in FY2020 to ₹10 trillion by 2030.
