RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat comments on LGBTQ+ and live-in relationships
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat stated that LGBTQ+ individuals are part of society and deserve equal respect and dignity. Speaking in Hyderabad, Bhagwat also commented on live-in relationships, contrasting them with marriage. He described marriage as a practice that instills discipline and responsibility, while characterizing live-in relationships as a modern trend with negative consequences, calling it a blind imitation rather than true modernity. He emphasized that Indian tradition has always accepted the existence of LGBTQ+ people.
