Supreme Court Dismisses Plea on Ashok Chakra Display
The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed a petition seeking to install an Ashok Chakra at the entrance of the court. Chief Justice of India (CJI) Suryakant Tripathi remarked, "What to install at the gate of the Supreme Court, we will see. There are so many problems in the world, you should focus on them." The bench, also comprising Justice Dipankar Datta, stated that the court would decide on such matters itself. The petitioner's lawyer was asked to focus on other issues.
