Top Maoist Leader Misir Besra Arrested in Jharkhand
Security forces arrested top Maoist leader Misir Besra in Jharkhand during a joint operation. Besra carried a bounty of ₹1 crore to ₹2.2 crore, according to various reports. He was apprehended along with four associates in the Maniyadih forest area of Dhanbad. Security agencies are currently interrogating Besra and his collaborators.
