Pakistan Faces Protests, Attacks, and Mine Disaster

At least 30 protesters were allegedly killed by Pakistan forces in Pakistan-administered Kashmir during a march in Rawalakot, with allegations of evidence tampering and a communications blackout. Separately, a coal mine blast in Pakistan's Baluchistan province killed at least 32 miners and trapped 10 others, reportedly caused by methane gas. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, an attack on a police post resulted in the deaths of 7 police personnel, with some reports indicating 15 attackers also died.
