Delhi High Court Refuses to Remove Officer Accused of Slapping Protester

The Delhi High Court has refused to remove a police officer accused of slapping a woman protester. The court stated that it should not "discredit the institution" by removing the officer. The bench, presided over by Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma, noted that the investigation was ongoing and that the officer's removal was not warranted at this stage.
