Government Implements 'One Officer, One Official Car' Rule

The Indian government has implemented a new rule mandating 'One Officer, One Official Car' to optimize vehicle utilization and curb misuse. Under this policy, officers will be allocated only one official vehicle, even if they incur additional charges. The use of Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) vehicles is also restricted, permitted only during official tours. This measure aims to reduce government expenditure and curtail VIP culture.
