Haryana Approves Tax Exemptions for Electric Vehicles
The Haryana government has approved a 100% tax exemption on registration fees for electric vehicles (EVs) priced up to Rs 30 lakh. For EVs costing more than Rs 30 lakh, a 50% rebate on registration fees has been approved. The state also announced registration tax exemptions for non-transport vehicles purchased in the name of women. This decision follows a similar move by Delhi.
