CBI charges 13 over NEET exam paper leaks; stricter law passed
India's Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a charge sheet against 13 individuals, including National Testing Agency (NTA) experts, in connection with the NEET-UG exam paper leak. The charges follow allegations of corruption and a compromised examination process. Concurrently, Parliament passed a stricter bill to prevent paper leaks, increasing penalties for examination malpractice. This legislative action occurred as opposition MPs questioned the examination system and transparency concerns intensified around the NTA.
