Saints Protest for Cow's 'Mother of Nation' Status in India
In Varanasi, saints protested at the District Magistrate's office, demanding that cows be granted the status of 'Mother of the Nation'. They delivered a memorandum containing over 500,000 signatures, reportedly transported by a bulldozer. A similar demonstration occurred in Rohtak, where a cow protection group presented a petition with over 501,000 signatures for the same demand.
