Minister Returns Subsidy After Taking Funds From Own Ministry
Junior Agriculture Minister Bhagirath Choudhary returned Rs 99.6 lakh in subsidy funds that were allocated from his ministry. The Centre stated that the scheme permitted the minister to receive the subsidy, and that the refund had been made. Parliament was informed of the subsidy return.
