14 Firms Commit ₹3,500 Cr for Telecom Hub in Gwalior
Fourteen companies, including Dixon, HFCL, and VVDN, have committed ₹3,500 crore to establish a telecom manufacturing hub in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The zone is a joint venture between the central government and the Madhya Pradesh government. It aims to serve as a centralized location for designing, manufacturing, and testing telecommunications equipment domestically. The central government has approved ₹493 crore for this initiative, positioning it as India's first dedicated telecom manufacturing zone.
