Maruti Suzuki's Gujarat plant reaches 1 million capacity, becomes Suzuki's largest
Maruti Suzuki's Hansalpur facility in Gujarat has achieved an annual production capacity of 1 million units with the commencement of operations at its fourth plant. This expansion represents Suzuki's largest production site globally. The company has invested a cumulative ₹25,288.7 crore in the 640-acre facility, including approximately ₹3,900 crore for the new Plant D. This development is seen as a step towards strengthening Maruti Suzuki's position in the electric vehicle market.
